The historic Sierra Nevada House provides the romantic, relaxed elegance and rustic charm of a high quality country hotel.

We have six newly renovated spacious rooms, each adorned with comfortable beds and decorated with beautiful antiques. All rooms have a private bath and access to the outdoor veranda with its views of the river valley.

Downstairs you will find a first class restaurant and bar, serving lunch and dinner. Whether it's a fresh afternoon salad and sandwich or a fine steak and seafood dinner with local wine, our professionally trained staff will tempt, then satisfy your appetite.

The Inn itself is a historic treasure, and we are surrounded on all sides by the wilderness and breathtaking beauty of the Sierra foothills. So whether you are looking for romance, adventure, or both, the Sierra Nevada House offers a quiet place to relax and savor the essential beauties of life.

Isabella's Garden - Room 1
1 Queen and 1 Double Bed - $89.00
Isabella's Garden was recreated to please her, and our visiting guests with calm soothing colors and a pleasant atmosphere. Isabella's love of flowers is reflected here, as well as the ability to step just outside on the veranda. Read more about Isabella's Garden.

The Gold Miner's Daughter - Room 2
1 Queen and 1 Double Bed - $89.00
This room is decorated in green, Philomena's favorite color. The gold miner's daughter is a woman with a lot of time and a lot of money on her hands. The Bordello Room - Room 3
2 Double Beds - $89.00
Lily and Rosa - once good friends, became down and out rivals each seeking to stake her claim on the newly decorated room that features unique brass beds and one of the best views of the river. Read more about the Bordello Room.

The Bridal Suite - Room 4
1 King Bed - $105.00
The bridal suite is Isabella's favorite room, so much so that often the door is found unlocked - perhaps so that Pete can find his way. Isabella awaits the return of her true love the soft spoken Pete-the-Prospector. Read more about the Bridal Suite.

The Californian - Room 5
1 Queen and 1 Double Bed - $89.00
The Californian is named in tribute to our visitors from around the world; past, present and future. Many were our indigenous and immigrant ancestors. Many are proud Californians today. Many will be inspired to become our new neighbors throughout our golden state. Read more about the Californian.

The Ranch Hand - Room 6
1 Queen and 1 Double Bed - $89.00
The Ranch Hand's room is appointed in our natural western style. It currently has two beds, although, at one time it had only one. This room was shared by Sam and the beautiful Maria. Sadly, though, Maria left Sam one day. Took her magnificent steed and headed down to the river road. She didn't even look back once - neither did her horse. Read more about the Ranch Hand.

Cancellation Policy

All of our rooms have a two week cancellation policy. If you cancel 14 days or closer to the first day of your reservation, 100% of your room reservation will be forfeited. We have a strict cancellation policy because we are a small hotel and often book up far in advance. Please make sure that you cancel before two weeks and if you book within two weeks, you will not be able to cancel. We appreciate your understanding with our policy.
